BOMBSHELL: Barack Obama Met With Pro-Terror Religious Leader on 9/11

Conservatives agree that President Barack Obama’s policies are almost without exception bad not only for the nation, but also for the world.

Even liberals, however, are starting to understand that even when they agree with his agenda, this president has a disturbing knack for doing the wrong things at the wrong time.

The most blatant example of this, of course, was probably his golf course antics minutes after his somber statement on the brutal beheading of American journalist James Foley at the hands of Islamic State terrorists. However, this president also slipped off to attend two Democrat fundraising events in New York City immediately after a Malaysia Air jet carrying 23 Americans was shot down. Then, when he did manage to be in the right place at the right time — at a NATO meeting designed to convey unity to an increasingly aggressive Russia — he still accomplished little more than to put his own narcissism on display in front of most of America’s most important allies.

Now Retired Lt. Col. Allen West says the president has done it again.

West cites a report from The Washington Free Beacon that says that on the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks that killed thousands of Americans, President Barack Obama met with a terror-supporting cleric from the Middle East.

Rai has previously described Israel as an occupier and “defended Hezbollah’s right to attack the country.”

Hezbollah was one of the first groups designated a Foreign Terrorist Organization by the U.S. State Department, and has remained so-designated for almost 20 years.

Rai was a member of a “delegation of Christian Middle Eastern leaders in Washington, D.C.” that met with the president on 9/11.

West, as so many have been doing lately, asks whether the president understands how such meetings look to the American public. “[D]oes Barack Hussein Obama give a damn about the optics of his meeting on 9-11 with Islamic terrorist supporters?”

“This was a blatant slap in the face of every American and especially to those who lost loved ones,” the former Florida congressman added.

It’s becoming a familiar question — does Obama not know or not care about how such meetings impact his reputation — and his approval ratings — with the American people and the world?

If this president has a legitimate reason to meet with an individual like Rai — if there is reason to believe that such a meeting could somehow further American interests — then so be it. We recognize that all American presidents must sometimes engage in activities for the good of the nation that might otherwise be considered distasteful, and, furthermore, that enemies cannot become allies without dialogue.

But, really. He couldn’t have picked a different day?

President Obama’s meeting with a Middle Eastern supporter of Islamic terrorism on September 11 was nothing less than a slap in the face to the heroes and victims of the 9/11 attacks and their families.
